Mood Writing~FUN Sensory Writing Story Starters~24 Task Card Prompt~SPooKy

I call this type of activity Mood Writing. The story starters that go along with the picture are a little different from most because I want to excite kids about how they can spice up their writing by using sensory details inspired by the image. The colors in the painting, as well as the subjects, the moon, the tree, the cat and the crow, come together to set a certain mood. With a little more prompting by the story starters and a little spicing up by the sensory details they discover, I hope a creative fire will spark to life in your kid's writing.
